Christmas Creosote

Today will be the christnening of the christmas tree. First, we will cut branches from creosote and then some from the spruce, combine and voila: a desert christmas tree. We will decorate with lots of lights, tinsel garland, hand made ornaments and paper snowflakes in loud colors and admire the splendor all while sipping spiced rum ciders. Charlie Brown will be playin, projected onto the white washed wall. We will hand stitch stockings, probably bake up some sugar treats (or a couple of grilled cheese more likely), bask in the gaudiness of the events turn out and dance around the living room with undies. Just for the sake of a holiday so far off roots.
